Have you always wanted to study the Bible, but can't seem to get in the groove? Do you wish you knew the Bible better? that's where The Story can help us.
The story
The Story presents the whole story of the Bible but it is written like a modern novel. Divided into 31 chapters, it tells the story of God’s people from the creation and the fall, to the development of God’s people Israel, to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, to the early church and right down to our future hope of God’s redemption of the world. If you're looking for an accessible way to be introduced to the story of our faith, this is it! Not only that, but there are resources for children, youth and teens to join in this journey too.
To get a copy and read along, you can:
Pick up a physical copy in the church entrance.
You can buy one online here or here. There is also a Kindle version if you prefer reading on a tablet, as well as an Audible version if you prefer audio books.
For younger readers, you can also purchase online a preschool edition, children's edition (Ages 4-7), and a youth edition (Ages 8-12) so they can work along with us.
Bible Studies
During the week following each sermon, we will have opportunities to look more in-depth at that section with others in the church and community.
Pastor Nathan will personally host meetings on:
Monday mornings at 11 a.m. at MoCo House in Bessemer
Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at Petersburg Church.
Additionally, if those times don't work but you want to start your own study time with others, let Pastor Nathan know and he can get you the study materials you need.

Sunday Sermons
Each Sunday, Pastor Nathan will introduce the part of the Bible we're looking at in his sermon. You can choose to read the chapter in advance of that, or afterward if the context helps you understand better. The sermons will be posted below.
